Pricing & Refund Policy

BonsTimes is a marketplace for local events. Independent hosts list their own events and set their own ticket prices and refund terms. Because of that, there is no single price or single refund policy across the platform — the terms that apply to any purchase are the ones shown on that event when you buy. This page explains the framework.
1. Pricing
- The host of each event sets its ticket price(s). An event may have multiple ticket tiers at different prices, and some events are free.
- All prices on BonsTimes are shown and charged in U.S. Dollars (USD).
- The price (and any fees) are displayed on the event page before you pay.
2. Refunds & cancellations
Each host chooses the refund terms for their event from the options below, and those terms are displayed on the event page before purchase. The terms shown at the time of your purchase are the binding terms for that purchase:
- Refundable any time before the event
- Refundable by request — the host reviews and approves refund requests
- Final sale — no refunds
- Cancellable within a window — e.g. cancel within a set number of hours after purchase
- Sales final before the event — refunds close a set number of days before the event start
3. Platform-wide rules (these always apply)
Regardless of an individual host's refund terms:
- A used ticket is final. Once a ticket has been redeemed — checked in or scanned at the door — the sale is final and non-refundable, even if the host's policy would otherwise allow a refund. You cannot refund attendance you have already used.
- After the event, sales are final. Once an event's start time has passed, tickets are non-refundable unless the host's policy and applicable law require otherwise.
- If a host cancels an event, affected ticket holders are refunded.
4. How to request a refund
Where the event's terms allow it, request a refund from your account / tickets page or by contacting the host through the event. If you believe you were charged in error, an event was misrepresented, or a host is unresponsive, contact us at support@bonstimes.com and we will help resolve it.
5. Other paid features
Optional paid features (such as posting memberships) are billed as described where you sign up. Recurring charges can be cancelled at any time to stop future billing; the current paid period is non-refundable unless required by law.
6. Classifieds
Classified listings are arranged directly between buyer and seller; BonsTimes does not process payment for classified transactions, so this refund policy does not apply to them.
7. Changes
We will update the effective date above when this policy changes. The refund terms shown on an event at the time you purchased remain the terms for that purchase.
