Terms of Service

You are using a pre-release alpha version of BonsTimes. Features may break, change, or be removed without notice. Data may be reset before general availability. By using this alpha, you accept the risk that purchases, posts, or account data may be lost.
1. Account
You must be 13 or older to use BonsTimes. Some content and events are restricted to adults (18+ or the age of majority where you live) — see Mature content. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for any activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
2. Acceptable use & prohibited activities
BonsTimes is for lawful events, listings, and community use. You may not use the platform — through events, classifieds, forum posts, chat, listings, or any other feature — to post, organize, advertise, facilitate, or solicit any of the following:
- Illegal activity of any kind. Nothing on BonsTimes may be used to arrange, promote, or facilitate conduct that is illegal where it takes place. This includes, without limitation:
- Prostitution, escorting for sexual services, or any commercial sex act.
- The sale, distribution, or use of illegal drugs or controlled substances.
- Human trafficking or the exploitation of any person.
- Sale or transfer of weapons, explosives, or other regulated goods in violation of law.
- Fraud, theft, money laundering, or other financial crimes.
- Any sexual or exploitative content involving minors. This is reported to the authorities, always.
- Other illegal content, spam, hate speech, threats, or harassment.
- Attempting to break, probe, overload, or DoS the service.
- Selling tickets you don't have the right to sell, or listing events you have no authority over.
- Using the in-house mail relay to send unsolicited bulk mail, or misusing relay addresses (for example, harvesting them for spam lists).
You are solely responsible for your events and listings, including obtaining any permit or license the law requires (for example, a license to serve or sell alcohol). We remove violating content and may suspend or ban accounts at our discretion, and we cooperate with law enforcement where required by law.
3. Mature (18+) content
Plenty of lawful events are meant for adults only — for example, events that serve alcohol, feature adult entertainment, or that a host simply wants to keep free of children. Organizers may mark such events Mature. Mature events:
- Are hidden from anonymous visitors and from signed-in users who have not opted in to 18+ content.
- Are intended for attendees who are at least 18 (or the age of majority where the event is held). The organizer is responsible for verifying age at the door where the law requires it.
- Must still comply with every law that applies, including licensing for alcohol or regulated entertainment.
"Mature" is an age gate, not a loophole. Marking something Mature does not permit anything listed in Section 2. BonsTimes is not a venue for prostitution, drugs, or any other illegal activity, and such content will be removed — and may be reported — no matter how it is categorized.
4. Tickets, payments, and refunds
Tickets are sold by event organizers, not by BonsTimes. Refunds follow the organizer's posted policy and the platform refund flow. Payment is processed by Stripe or PayPal under their respective terms. Currency, taxes, and processing fees may apply.
5. User content
You retain ownership of content you post. You grant BonsTimes a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and process your content as required to operate the service. You are responsible for content you post and represent that you have the right to post it.
6. Liability
BonsTimes is provided "as is" during alpha, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the alpha is limited to the amount you paid us (typically zero).
7. Termination
Either party may end this agreement at any time. We may discontinue the alpha or any feature without notice.
8. Changes
We may revise these terms. The effective date above will be updated. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
